Brinley Kaston

Meet

Clinical Supervisor, LCSW

Brinley’s belief around the therapeutic value is that everyone could benefit from support and help throughout the various stages of life. Whether due to work or family stress, navigating friendships and romance, and adjustments to a myriad of life changes, having a place to unload and explore one’s emotions can be so profound to the human experience. Brinley comes to therapy with an empathetic approach to help her clients feel that they are reaching their potential.

Brinley is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Supervisor of LMSWs. Her approach to supervision is similar to her approach as a therapist. She encourages her supervisees to use their clinical tools to listen to what their clients are saying, help problem solve, and sift through the layers of emotions one may be experiencing. Throughout Brinley’s career, she has found that supervision has been a crucial part of honing her clinical skills and ultimately in helping her clients. Supervision encourages a clinician to step outside of the therapy room and look at their clients through additional lenses and perspectives.
